BLT Pizza



Don and I love BLT’s and we love pizza! So we decided to combine the 2 into one amazing dish. This works out great for company (I hate making toast!).

The ingredients are simple:

1 Pre-made pizza crust

Mayo or Miracle Whip

Fresh crisp bacon pieces

Lettuce and tomatoes

Toast the pizza crust, then top with mayo, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. Easy as pizza pie!

Speedy Hummus Pizza

Speedy Humus Pizza              Makes: 6 slices

(Simple & Delicious)

1 pre-baked 12-inch pizza crust

1 cup hummus

¾ tsp. dried oregano

¼ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

½ cup crumbled feta cheese

½ cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

½ cup pitted Greek olives, chopped

1 Tbsp. olive oil

Preheat oven to 450°. Place crust on an ungreased baking sheet or 12” pizza pan.

In a small bowl, mix hummus, oregano and pepper flakes; spread over crust. Sprinkle with cheese, tomatoes and olives. Bake 8-10 minutes or until heated through. Drizzle with oil.

Zesty Calzone

Zesty Calzone             Serves: 4

(Simple & Delicious)

1 tube (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza crust

2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

8 thin slices deli ham

8 thin slices hard salami

¼ cup chopped onion

¼ cup chopped green pepper

¼ cup chopped tomato

1 cup (4 oz.) mozzarella cheese (part skim mozzarella may be used)

In a greased 15x10x1 inch baking pan, pat dough into a 13×8 inch rectangle. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to within ½ inch of edges.

On half of the dough, layer the ham, salami, onion, green pepper, and tomato to within 1 inch of edges. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Fold dough over filling; pinch edges to seal. Cut slits in top.

Bake at 425° for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 10 minutes. Cut into 4 pieces.

Breakfast Pizza

Breakfast Pizza     Makes: 2 pizzas

What you need:

1 dozen eggs

1/4 cup milk

Salt and Pepper to taste

Bacon bits

2 Sausage gravy packets (I use Bob Evans ready-made; in the sausage section)

2 Ready-made pizza crusts (I use Kroger brand)

1 package shredded Colby-Jack cheese

What to do:

PREHEAT OVEN to 375 degrees.

1. Whisk milk and eggs. Heat large skillet over medium heat. Make scrambled eggs. Salt and pepper to taste.

2. Meanwhile, microwave gravy packets, put in bowl and stir well.

3. Lay pizza crusts directly on center rack of oven and bake for 5-7 minutes (just to warm).

4. Remove crusts from oven and spoon sausage gravy onto each crust. Top with scrambled eggs. Sprinkle with cheese and then bacon bits.

5. Return crusts to oven and bake until cheese is melted.
