Blueberry Cream Cheese Muffins

BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE MUFFINS    Makes: 12 muffins

Ingredients

1(18.25 oz.) package blueberry muffin mix (Mom used Martha White with canned blueberries included)

1 (8 oz.) package, cream cheese, softened,

1/4 cup granulated sugar

Directions

  1.  Mix muffin mix according to package directions. Divide 1/2 of batter among 1(12-count) greased or paper lined muffin pan.
  2.  In medium bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar; using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed 1 minute, divide cream cheese mixture among batter in muffin pan, top with remaining muffin batter.
  3.  Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
