Turkey and Wild Rice Soup


Turkey and Rice Soup      Makes about: 10-12 cups soup


4 cups leftover turkey; shredded or cubed

2 cups turkey juices

4 cups chicken stock

1½ cups diced celery

1½ cups diced onion

1½ cups diced carrots

Uncooked wild rice to make 4 cups

Savory seasoning

Seasoning salt

Salt and white pepper

Water if needed


  1. In large stock pot, add veggies, turkey juices and stock. Simmer for 30 minutes.  Add turkey. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add wild rice and cover; cooking until rice is almost done.
  2. Add seasoning and simmer for 30 minutes. Add water if needed.
  3. Salt to taste.
  4. Freeze what you do not use; in resealable plastic bags.
